The Better Business Bureau is an independent, self-governing, non-profit organization established by members of the business community. It encourages self-regulation, to promote truth in business practices. The BBB is dedicated to the building and preservation of public confidence in legitimate business. The BBB has over 140 bureaus in North America.
To gain membership into the BBB, a company must adhere to the ethical principles and standards set by the BBB.
